Right off, I think you should say Flaeche instead of Gebiet when talking about area as measurements, Gebiet does mean area, but more in the sense of place, and Umfang or Volumen for volume, Band is the volume of a book.

Hey Jon,

I had a look at your text and the website. Here are my suggestions to correct the German.

On the website you shouldn't translate "I want to convert" with "Ich will verwandeln" but "Ich möchte umrechnen". It is wrong to translate "conversion" with "Bekehrung", it has to be "Umrechnung". "Extended" should be "Erweitert", not "Ausgedehnt". The translation of "Volume" into "Band" is wrong, it has to be "Volumen". So is the translation of "Area" into "Gebiet", it has to be "Fläche". "Data storage" should be "Datenspeicherung".

My suggestions for the text:

I would replace "Erweitert Umrechnung" by "Erweiterte Umrechnung".

It was my mistake to provide single words instead of the whole phrase. Of course it has to be "Erweiterte Umrechnung".
