Hi, I'm on a mission!
My husband drives a community bus where there are a number of elderly folks who cannot read English. He says that people get annoyed with him because he can't bring bring more people on the bus than the legal amount shows. Hence he ends up leaving some folks behind and they are, understandably, annoyed! There is a sign in English that shows it's not legal for more than 24 people on the bus but most cannot read it. Sooooo.. I thought it would be helpful for him to have a sign in Punjabi and Hindi so the elderly could read it and understand and not be so upset or feel like they've been given short shrift. So... is there any one who could translate this please: The maximum number of people allowed on this bus is 24. Thank you for understanding. I very much appreciate your help if you can. Debra |
