I found a very nice site to learn Tamil. There is also a video presentation and a lot of cultural background information.

இல்லை, நான் சிரிக்கவில்லை. நான் தமிழ் பேசுகிறுதை கேட்டால் நீங்கள் கண்டிப்பாகச் சிரிப்பீர்கள்.
अग्रतस्ते नमः पृष्ठतस्ते नमः। ( agrataste namaḥ pṛṣṭhataste namaḥ.) = अग्रतः ते नमः पृष्ठतः ते नमः। ( agrataḥ te namaḥ pṛṣṭhataḥ te namaḥ.) = Reverence to you in the front, reverence to you from behind. सर्वतस्ते नमः (sarvataste namaḥ ) = सर्वतः ते नमः sarvataḥ te namaḥ = Reverence to you from everywhere, from all sides. karmabhumé namah ( terre où on travaille?) gharmabhumé namah, must be धर्मभूमे नमः धर्मभूमिः (dharmabhūme namaḥ) dharmabhūmiḥ La terre (பூமி )de notre dharma, Vocative, on appelle la terre. शारदे (śārade), vocative de शारदा (śāradā) = சரஸ்வதி सर्वदा sarvadā, Vocative: सर्वदे sarvade means giver of everything (feminine) On peut aussi écouter les chansons. Cette chansons-ci n'a pas une belle mélodie. மிக முன்னேற்றம் ! Vous avez fait beaucoup de progrès ! C'est une belle chanson patriotique, நல்ல பாட்டு.
