The sign in Vikram's avatar is not Hindi. It is a symbol for ओम् . Also pronounced as ओम् (om). It consists of three letters, namely (a), (u) and म् (m). a and u makes o in Sanskrit.
In Kannada ಓಂ In Telugu ఓం (almost the same)
But in Tamil

Can someone give his comment or solutions about Compound Postpositions in Hindi: 'ke bajaay' rather than 'kii bajaay'. After having consulted two renowned dictionaries (Vermeer/Sharma and Maanak HIndi KOsh) I'd rather say that the compound postposition in question is 'ke bajaay' and not 'ki bajaay'. Ke bajaay is also the version I have retained in my childhood memory and it is not that I have learned some wrong version. And now the dictionaries support this version too. 'Bajay' (Persian) itself is neither masculine nor feminine. (syn. kii jagah) Jagah is feminine. Well possible that the gender of the synonym is applied to the foreign Persian word in variants of Hindi. It would be better to mention both compound postpositions versions as variations of hindi. Compound postpositons that go with kii are only few (kii or, kii jagah, ki taraf, ki naaii (arch.)) etc. Give me some more arguments for 'kii bajaay'.
