English to Punjabi. Please help

I have been Trying to find someone to translate my name into Punjabi.

My name is Sharn Mahmood

My father was from Pakistan and i think he spoke Punjabi, Is this a language of pakistan?

If anyone can help i would be very greatfull

Your name in Punjabi must be something like

ਸ਼ਰ੍ਨ ਮਹਮੂਡ

but as i'm not a specialist of this language, please check it

As for Mahmood, i'm just checking if it's a derivated of the One of Prophet

Concerning languages in Pakistan:

Urdu and English are both recognised as the official languages of Pakistan.
as Hindi and English in India. Urdu is the lingua franca (or supposed to be) of the people, being widely spoken as a second language, although it is the mother tongue of only 8% of the population mostly in Karachi. Besides these, Punjabi, followed by Pashtu, Sindhi, and Balutchi.

Thank you for that, I cant say wether that is right or wrong, as i obviously dont know myself.

That translation looks very much like what my college teacher thought it was, although there is a few differences but he wasnt sure either

Do you know of any other sites i could go to that might be able to help?
Or if you could try and confirm that translation for me.

In devanagari script it will be

शार्न महमूद

sorry but i don't know about any other site for pujabi

Mahmood is derivated from the arabic root hmd and means as Mohamed " the one to honour"
