Red face Ginger Coke for clod winter~

This is a Chinese way to drink coke. Well, it's not a cooking actually~We just often drink it in restaurant as drink normal coke. You can call it ginger coke. It's softer than normal Coke, not so sweet, and it's popular in cold winter. It started to be popular six years ago, when SARS appeared. This coke is good for people who got a cold, it was said. Your know, we Chinese believe that hot food is better for our health than cold things.

It's easy to make. Here's the way my mum told me:

1. Get a bottle of Coke and some ginger;
2. Cut the ginger into pieces/slices(like thread,I can't find a suitable word in English,do u know how to say?)
3.put them in a small pot,pour the Coke into it;
4.Turn on the fire, boil it;
5.Stop after it became boiling for a few minutes(you can keep it shorter or longer)
6.Take off the ginger. That's it.

Chinese cooking isn't like American's I think. It doesn't say how many spoons or cups. Most things depend on your experience, isn't it?

Hope you can enjoy the taste in such a cold, dry, windy winter~
