Other curious thing is, each region in Brazil prepares it differently.
You must be a very good chef !!!
Could it be the Portuguese who brough couscous to Brazil? The Moors were from Algeria and Morocco.

If you find any information on the origins of couscous that would be great.

Thank you Nana.

Yes, it is possible. You know, some recipes came from the African people, Indians, Portuguese and Italian people. I`ll tell you when I know it for sure, ok?

Do you mean the native Indians of Brazil or Indians from the continent of Asia?

Native Indians of Brazil.....the first people here before the Portuguese came.
Many dishes in Brazil come from the mix of the Indians ( like manioc in dishes) and also from the Black people who unfortunatelly idiots brought them here to make them slaves ( a shame to Brazil). Black people from Africa enriched our cruisine and customs. Like Feijoada for eg.. which dish I think (not sure if they brought here or created here - but i guess the second possibility is the correct one) was created by them when they were in slavery condition.
