I don't know if this is old news, but I wanted to say it anyhow (did do a search). If you don't know, there is a program called Tavultesoft Keyman 6.0, with which you can quickly shift freely between any sort of keyboard layout from greek to mandarin (Couldn't find Kanji, Hiragana or Kataka though). You just download the main program and then the templates you need. Although it's difficult making runes work, I haven't succeeded.
Just wanted to make anyone aware.

I don't have a French keyboad, and I can never type the French accents. I see other people have the same difficulty too. I use Windows XP, but I don't have the English (International version). I have only English BR and US version, plus other languages.
