Hi everyone
![]() I just wanted to share the movie i watched yesterday night called Orfeu Negro. This is a french movies by Camus that won the "festival de Cannes" in 1959 It talks about the old greek myth Orfée and Euridice though the whole thing has been replaced in the 50s in Brazil during the Rio de Janeiro festival Very nice movie, dancing and brazilian warm spirit are well present without losing what's so amazingly true in the greek myth... ![]() |

Hey FD.. lol no need to check the actor`s name. I was wrong.. It was not GRANDE OTELO. I remembered now..lol
This actor I told you about, GRANDE OTELO (which name means = great / big Otelo) is a very short (lol)funny black man who Brazilians love him so much and whose works contributed to our old movies called "chanchadas". His name is GREAT even he is a very short man because he is great as an actor and as a human being. ![]() Last edited by Nana_Brazil; 06-06-2005 at 02:14 PM. |
