Quote:
At first, music is sometimes part and parcel of life: some people make their job and a living out of it. Many people find in music a means to express themselves and pass on a message, at times of humanity, solidarity, faith. People can express themselves through music and sometimes build bridges between different cultures. Being accessible to everyone is the advantage of music: whatever our nationalities or languages are, there's something in it for everybody. Thus a Frenchman can like English music, in the same way as a Spaniard can appreciate music from the Maghreb. The simple contact with new and unfamiliar songs can make us more tolerant towards other cultures. Subsequently however, music can only be at times - this is the case for a big majority of people - a passion, which doesn't lessen the very important role it plays in other people's lives. It can be a hope but is also an excellent means to get rich. Thus music can gather people from different cultures, forge everlasting friendships and contribute towards everybody's well-being. How many people have ever felt reassured, comforted or even relieved simply by listening to music? Some other times, music appeals to other emotions, other feelings such as nostalgia, melancholy or even regret. To conclude, it can be said that music plays an indispensable if not vital role in the lives of most people: it can be both a very personal thing and a means for everybody to enrich their culture and enlarge their horizons. Bonne chance. ![]() |

Juste une dernière petite chose (désolée !), serait-ce possible de savoir comment on dit "Très peu de gens" ainsi que "Pour beaucoup de gens" ?
Merci d'avance ! Last edited by Kimykouko; 01-13-2008 at 10:04 AM. |
