bonjour,
je viens d'essayer de traduire un texte du francais vers l'anglais. Etant donné mon faible niveau en anglais je souhaite que quelqu'un m'aide à corriger à mon texte. The air freight has increased since the Second World War and in spite of the different crisis which it endured. So, we can characterize this transport by its impressive growth, its internationalization, and by the traffic express which take a more and more exciting share. This transport is defined by specific actors. Thus, its customers use it to mainly transport non durable products or goods of strong added value. To carry out this transport, it exist many companies which divide the market and belonging each one to different categories of conveyors. However, the market of the air cargo is mainly assumed by the mixed companies which carry out goods and passengers. The complexity of this mean of transport required the use an intermediary between these companies and the customers. They are the agents of freight. They have the responsibility to organize and to do execute the totality of transport. They are an important element of airport, infrastructure which is the only place of meeting between the various actors of air transport. The realization of this transport requires significant ways. The freight, conditioned in units of loading allowing the optimization of space, is transported by planes. The merchandise is charged and discharged in the air terminals from the airports, strategic place which allows the physical and documentary treatment freight. The choice to use air transport results from an analysis of the advantages and drawbacks which this means of transport brings. Incontestably, the plane offers a very fast transport and it doesn’t depend on meteorology or the relief. Moreover, the fragility of the material used allows ensuring a safety for the goods during the flight and handling. These two qualities differentiate the air transport from its competitors. To consolidate this difference, the conveyor has a great responsibility in the event of loss for the goods, damage or delay. Finally, the last advantage of this transport is this volumetric capacity which is more profitable than the other modes which offer initially weight and not volume. This result in a tariff based on the weight/volume which is more important. In against part, the use of this means of transport is expensive compared with the other modes. This tariff difference is the consequence of the low capacity of the planes. Moreover, since the last attacks of September 11, 2001 and the increase in the terrorist risk, the States reinforced the their procedure around safety, by setting up in particular the agreement of "known charger" become obligatory for the companies wishing to transport goods which aren’t controllable.
