C’est très bizarre, mais il n’a guère neigé ici cet hiver parce que décembre il faisait trop chaude et puis janvier, tout d’un coup, il faisait trop froid. (Il est sec ici quand il fait très froid, et il n’y a pas de précipitation, donc il n'y a pas de neige.) Mais finalement, il a neigé beaucoup cette semaine, et avec ma sœur et mon père on allait faire du ski ce weekend parce qu’il n’y a pas d'école le lundi prochaine. Mais jeudi j’ai glissé et suis tombé dans beaucoup d’escaliers qui étaient couvert de la glace noir que je n’avait vue, et je me suis heurté le dos! Et maintenant, ça fait mal quand je marche, et alors je ne peux pas faire rien et surtout pas faire du ski. Alors, on m’a laissée ici dans ma chambre à l'université. :`(

It is very bizarre, but it has barely snowed here this winter because december, it was too warm, and then january, all of a sudden, it was too cold. (It is dry here when it is very cold, and there isn't precipitation, so there isn't snow.) But finally, it snowwed a lot this week, and my sister and father and I were going to go skiing this weekend because there is no school next monday. But thursday, I slipped and fell down a long flight of stairs that were covered with black ice that I hadn't seen, and I hurt my back! And now, it hurts when I walk, and so I can't do anything, and I certainly can't ski. So, they left me here in my room at the university. :`(

"on est allés faire du ski ce weekend" ca veut dire "we went skiing this weekend" non?
but how would I say "we were going to go skiing this weekend" (but because I fell we did not)?
