1.A lot of people are against experiments on animals. So am I.
2.Emilly didn't have to go to school. Neither did I. 3.Sean does a lot of sport, whereas I don't. 4.More and more people care about pollution. So do I. 5.Judy will live in Australia next year, whereas I will live in the USA next year. 6.Alan didn't spend his holidays abroad, whereas I like to spend my holidays abroad especially in Africa. 7. Jill's father doesn't smoke at all. Neither do I. 8.Ian watched television last night. So did I. Vous pouvez dire "Ian has watched television last night. So have I." ou "Ian watched television last night. So did I." Aussi, on utilise le mot "whereas" pour comparer deux choses dans la meme phrase. Par exemple: Si j'aime le base-ball, et ma soeur aime le football, je peux dire: "I love baseball, whereas my sister loves football." Je peux dire aussi, "Whereas my sister loves football, I love baseball." Je ne peux pas dire "I love baseball. Whereas my sister loves football." "Whereas my sister loves football" est quelque chose appelé "a dependant clause". Ca veut dire qu'il ne peut pas etre une phrase tout seul. Il faut ajuter "an independant clause" à la phrase avec le "dependent clause". |
