Does the following Sentence Correct :

(il me demande quitter la maison) (il me demande de quitter la maison)
il me demande à quitter le maison

Hello!

I do concur to FD's statement - "il me demande de quitter la maison" is indeed the correct sentence.

I'm afraid that the "que" has been used in a malapropos way in this sentence. An alternative way to formulate the same sentence, I suggest, would be "il demande que je quitte la maison".

Hope that the following aids in projecting a clearer picture:

1. Il me demande de quitter la maison: He is asking me to leave the house.

2. Il me demande quitter la maison: He is asking me leave the house.
Obviously, the "to" is missing here, so this can't be the right sentence, as you may note.

3. Il me demande que je quitte la maison: He is asking me that I leave the house.
Here, the "that" is odd, as you can see, meaning that the French sentence can't be the correct one either.
