Bonjour tout le monde !

Voila j'aimerais que quelqu'un ait l'extrême gentillesse de m'aider:
Je vous explique : on nous a demandé en cours de faire un petit essai sur le sujet " What are rules for? What is their purpose?" à l'aide d'exemples donnés ici bas.

Dans cette première partie je dois démontrer en anglais l'intéret de ces règles dans ces deux situations. (le problème c'est que je manque énormément d'imagination ... et de vocabulaire en anglais !)
Face to a bear
"Never look a bear in the eyes, you could make it nervous"
"If you encounter a bear , you must stay calm "

In school:
" you have to arrive on time "
" you must raise your hand"

Dans la seconde partie, je dois démontrer que toutefois certaines règles n'ont pas d' intérêt et sont totalement inutiles avec ces deux arguments :

In school:
"in my school, we aren't allowed to take part in any singing, dancing, sports or anything outside school for 2 months until exams"

"we're not allowed to carry our bags around with us because we're told it's a safety hazard. we have to carry all our books around in a big pile and someone's always dropping them !"


Voila c'est tout ! J'espère vraiment que quelqu'un d'assez aimable aura pitié de moi et m'aidera !

C'est bizarre je viens de corriger le travail d'une personne qui avait exactement le même genre de sujet... c'est pas bien je vais aller voir votre prof. Au fait t'es en quelle classe ?

Bon, concernant ton travail...

1) Tu dois démontrer le bien-fondé de certaines règles :

"Never look a bear in the eyes, you could make it nervous"
> Your life is in danger (ben c'est déjà un argument pas mal).

"If you encounter a bear , you must stay calm "
> IDEM.

" you have to arrive on time "
> Arriving on time is a mark of respect, it allows the teacher to make the lesson in good coditions

" you must raise your hands"
> IDEM. Without that rule you wouldn't be able to communicate.

2)... et démontrer l'inutilité d'autres

"in my school, we aren't allowed to take part in any singing, dancing, sports or anything outside school for 2 months until exams"
> It's not participating in other activities that will make you fail your exam, it's useful and helps relaxing after revisions.

"we're not allowed to carry our bags around with us because we're told it's a safety hazard. we have to carry all our books around in a big pile and someone's always dropping them !"
> This rule is useless end even not easy to apply.
