a) en plaçant mes fonds dans une société d'investissement /

Il fallu bien du courage à Farboddy pour admettre avoir détourné de l’argent / des fonds de pension (?) de ma banque.

Par la fenêtre grande ouverte, le soleil entrait à flot et inondait les murs vernissés / vernis de jaunes et le sol nu.

a) S’agissant des politiciens il y a loin du dire au faire/promettre et tenir font 2.
b) Grand diseur n'est pas grand faiseur. (?)

5) He was a blind beggar carrying the traditional battered cane and thumping his way before him with the cautious, half furtive effort of the sightless.

C'était un mendiant aveugle, portant la traditionnelle canne blanche et tapant le sol avec pour se frayer un chemin, avec la prudence et l'effort à moitié furtif propres à l'aveugle.
