J'ai plusieurs versions à faire, et certaines contiennent des mots ou groupes de mots que je n'arrive pas à traduire. Les voici:
- whilom
- didst
- second-storey night clubs and dance halls
- accordion strings of coloured postcards
- they were of every age, or no age
- the set of his shoulders alters
- scantlings
- remembrancers
- 'tis
- alarum

Si quelqu'un a la moindre idée sur un ou plusieurs mots, elle sera la bienvenue.

Voici les mots que je connais:

- whilom >> sauf erreur, synonyme archaïque de "while"
- didst >> sauf erreur, conjugaison ancienne (thou didst = you did)
- second-storey night clubs and dance halls >> je comprends tous les mots mais besoin du contexte pour traduire
- accordion strings of coloured postcards >> des cartes postales colorées, suspendues en accordéon (?)
- they were of every age, or no age >> ils pouvaient avoir n'importe quel âge, ou être sans âge
- the set of his shoulders alters >> je comprends tous les mots mais besoin du contexte pour traduire
- scantlings >> contexte ?
- remembrancers >> contexte ?
- 'tis >> contraction de "it is"
- alarum >> contexte ?

En fait les mots que j'ai donnés se trouvent pour la plupart en début de textes à traduire. Voici les passages:

Cette phrase est dite par un homme qui parle d'une construction.
