You might like to bear in mind that while both terms are correct, and almost synonymous, "ecosystem" is more common when referring in a general sense to a natural environment, and would be used for instance in referring to the effect of pollution on the habitat or food sources of animals. "Ecocycle" tends to have a slightly narrower application, emphasizing the chemical cycle involved in biological processes.
