twilight saga is't a wonderfull one because it's about all kind of books....there are scenes of romance, scenes of thriller, scenes of adventure...and sometimes there are splatter scenes! when you start to read it you can't stop it!

Framboise, I'm a student (5th year) of clinical psychology. I know ideas of Avdeev, and I know that there is no possible way to cure or to find the (only) spiritual bases of mental illness/disorders. Do you know that such illness/disorders like bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dementia, psychosis has got mostly biological basis. There are also many changes inside of the brain, changes of the level of neurotransmitters, etc. "spiritual" changes are ALWAYS secondary. Medication therapy gives rally if it is about one's mental health. And so the treatemant is always based on medicines, than, after medicines, comes psychotherapy, art therapy and all the rest...

I know Avdeev's "Depression as Passion and Malady" - I cannot say anything good about this book, really... From my, scientific, point of view of course... Maybe a point of view of a believer is much more different than mine ?! Yes, I think it is...Why? A sin as a main cause of depression? Hello! Are we talkin' about the real depression, or a christian sense of guilt?

Well, I can give you one advice: First read a really good psychiatry student's book (medical one), and try to get some basics of the true, modern psychology, and psychiatry and than read orthodox shrinks... That will be the correct order, I believe...

I think that you are a believer, am I right? This is why you don't think anything good about Nietzsche... For me Nietzsche is very important, and I believe that he gave us some really beautiful ideas. One of them was that the human being is the MOST important. And that the self improvement is our goal. This is the true way to become better and better... to become the best.

I had a look to your links...It seems to be a good kind of book in its own genre. Anyway my tastes are very complicated..and I don't like so much these too fantastic genre of books. Through the trailer (your weblink) it seems similar to the tv series "Heroes", do you know it?

hei nn è affatto cm heroes!!!! assolutamente no!...cmq dovresti leggerlo...è davvero spettacolare..:P e se nn t va d affrontare 400 e rotti pagine almeno vediti un bel film quando uscirà! :D

cmq lui edward è un vampiro cm i suoi fratelli e cm il nemico e lei è umana e tutti sono assetati del suo sangue....

e cmq si conosco heroes e mi piace ma t posso garantire ke nn ha niente a ke fare cn twilight!
