Sure.

I've already read about 120 pages. It's the kinda story you fully understand only after having read the last page

. The prologue and the first chapter take place in the futur and then the story go back in time to the end of WW2. But the major part of the story takes place in the futur, after 2015. A disease outbreak stroke the entire planet and only twenty-five percent of the world population survived.
Then you learn that the remedy to that virulent flu, which was found (or raher created) by Farmatek, isn't a remedy but the opposite. It contains nanobots, which are supposed to "eat" the flu microbes. But those nanobots don't only eat those microbes but the whole organism of the patient.
And then you learn that all was planned by the Farmatek's leaders. They've planned to stay underground for at least a thousand years, to let the earth "purify" herself (references to Gaia, etc... like in FF

). And I didn't precise that they found the key of immortality.

But it's a little racist, because we do hope everyone far away from diseases, like SARS, BirdFlu, AIDS,..... all those demons.

Maybe it's purely from Europa, and think that total European population will be the same as Chinese population, so maybe the book is totally promoting a idea of "Occidentalisation or Occidentalism ", when all human are dead except European
