Hello Dusio,
You have to take a gift. In the country I live people are offended if somebody doesn't take their gift. Even is that one apple! I told my friend I can't eat sour apples (she brings every day 2 or 3 bio-apples). She is then in bad mood. There are only few mean people that give something wrong. More for a joke. Regards, Natasha

if you receive a gift....just do not open it in front of the person who gave it to you so that if you dont like it you'll not have to lie and fake a smile of joy !!! just say thank you and give him a kiss then put it in your bag

Hello Vanessa,
I don't know how is in your country but here where I live is polite to open gift in front of the person that gave it to you. For any gift you have to be friendly and say "thank you" (after you see it), just right there. I have done the same few times as you write and people looked at me very strange, as I don't care about gift. Natasha

yeah in my country it's polite to open a gift in front of the person who gave it to you,but i personaly if i dont want to open it right then im not gonna do it, you know it depends on you, because i don't care if people look at me in a strange way!!! i'm just being who i am, i do not act like if i am a different person that i am not in the reality. " that's my opinion and i respect yours"
