but the one who sneezes has to say something at first which is i think "al7amdolilah" and my uncle said to me once that when you sneeze your heart stopes to beat and that's why you have to say all that and that's why it's a big deal

In french : "A vos souhaits" or "A votre santé!" (the second answer is usual in Belgium, I don't know if the Frenchs of France say that.)
