I have just learned that I live nearly half-way between the only 2 Nurdistans in the eastern US.

Nerdistan: An upscale and largely self-contained suburb or town with a large population of high-tech workers employed in nearby office parks that are dominated by high-tech industries; any large collection of nerds.

_ nerd: an enthusiast whose interest is regarded as too technical or scientific and who seems obsessively wrapped up in it [.... and they are real fun :D I know, my brother in law is a computer geek.]

_ -istan: "place of" or "home of."

Also:

.... human beings have exhibited a definite desire to step outside what we normally consider to be reality ..... [with alchool, drugs, ...], .... computers offer some folks an altered state: call it Nerdistan.

The line between "nerd" and "geek" getting blurrier, I wonder: how many miles from Nerdistan to Geekville ?

Nerdistan : is it an english word ? I mean, used into english :s :s
