To stay young, one has to keep up with the times. Being a bit too old fashioned in my vocabulary, I decided to upgrade it and learn some of the recent words and phrases used by these youngsters out there.

Every day now, I make a point to learn one or two such new (to me) expressions.

Here is one that a ladylike person such as myself did not know. Try it at the next church picnic:

to freeball: to not wear underpants (beneath clothing); to go commando.

1 ".... I have gone 'free-balling'. One just has to be more conscious and slower when zipping."

2 ".... A fight broke out, sending a free-balling man sailing onto the chest of another who was fully clothed."

... usually applies to men .... it is sometimes applied to women.

3 ..... "free-balling", "California casual", "alfresco", or the much-preferred "going commando."

"Unless that sundress is super susceptible to breeze, super short, or you’re super drunk, no one will know the difference."
