Hello Svea,
the info in your profile tells me that you know English, svenska, norsk, íslenska, français, castellano and Latin. Are you perhaps Swedish? I wonder because you seem to want a German translation of the Swedish expression "Ja jävlar också!" This is bad Swedish language - jävlar means devils - although this expression just means "yes you're right". In most languages, including German, there's not this bad habit of putting in "hell" or "devils" to emphasize one's sentences. If I'm right about what you mean by "hell yes!!" it's simply jawohl in German. I would translate "auf alles" into "off everything". You can use it when you sell off things, for instance 50 % off everything=> 50 % auf alles. I'm not saying Tara Fuki is wrong. It's just that I've never heard "auf alles" being used as "yes" and I cannot find it used that way by googling either. I found Ja Mann though. It's probably derived from "yeah man" and not an original German expression. |

youre right cloelia, its not the finest way of expressing yourself and im aware of that, but thats just how we say it here
![]() svea, i think you should go with "jawohl" though. it may be too soft compared to hell yes but i cant think of any other words right now. |
