What does this one Turkish word mean...

Rowter - router - rwtr - rauter - I include a .wav so ou can listen.

This could be an old word, used in india to define a group of muslim, who has face like eastern turkish/western Iraq. Call the father as ata and always add the word bay to others first name and the Tamil/Indian there call us Tulk people.

the tale I have is that this word mean something about horseman that came to India to bring Islam from turkey.

Are you sure it is turkish? Even if it was old turkish, it could be easily understood.

I am not sure its turkish, but thats what my father, relative and almost everyone else i ask said :D, rowter as horseman . I just hope to find my root

....
