The secret of unfolding flowers is not known such as I.
Allah opens this flower so sweetly, than they in my hands die.
If I can not unfold a rose bud, than how can I have wisdom to unfold this life of mine.
So I will trust Allah for leading Each moment of my life, I will look to Allah for His guidance Each step of the way

But unfortunately, our Chinese exams always make me crazy!~ Every character may have more than one pronouciation or meaning. And when you use, you have to figure out each one. And they always give you similar characters or ambiguity words and ask you which is wrong. I really hate that!
What's more, Chinese has a long history, so it means that if you only learn contemporary Chinese, you can't fully understand dialogues. We learn old Chinese reading, and have to remember each character's meaning and useages. Many words we use today comes from old words or stories which you have to remember. And ancestors did grammar differently from nowadays, so, remember both old and new If you want to read something from HongKong or Taiwan, you also need to know Traditional Chinese.I learnt that by reading comics~
But don't worry, since China has thousands of accents(southern has more than the north), locals, especially city people, are used to strange Chinese~~~And if you learn mandarin well, you can talk with most people here(students all learn mandarin at school).
Japanese
It's very useful when you read comics or watch cartoons or listening to music. But it's similar with Chinese(Japanese learnt form Chinese some how in history). It also has charactors, but a little different from chinese.
I think it's difficult for me because I'm not sure if I can still remember how to speak and write Chinese correctly after learning Japanese~~~One of my school teachers did make a lot of mistakes when she speaks, after spending 3 years in Japan~
French
I may make more mistakes in English and can't pronounce English well after learning French~ English is the subject I must learn well and I did learn better than a lot of other students~especially my British pronouciation~ And I don't think French sounds wonderful...
Middle East languages
I can't remember those long sentences just for 'hello'~_~

hope what I say can make you know Chinese better~~~~~~~

i like china and chinese
and for me french sounds very very very good
Do you know it well?

I don't know it well really. But one of my friends is in France and we watched a Fench stage perform-Notre Dame-in music class, and it really sounds not so good for my mates and me. But I know many others enjoy it.

To be honest, I don't touch languages besides Chinese, English or Japanese very often. My foreign teacher did taught us Latin for 40min one year ago~ Some of my mates listen to Korean music.

Wow, I am a native English speaker and I found that in 3 years of Mandarin Study at the University level, writing Chines was easier for me that speaking it. Once I got the stroke order down, I really enjoyed it.

My speaking is terrible and I need to start over almost from scratch.
