okay missy....as you said you necer know what could be out there....so yea take your knife...I would never wish to be in such a situation.....don't like the idea of being alone so to be in a deserted island no way at all

Mmm, good question.
I think I would bring matches because I don't know how to do fire only using piece of woods, and I think that fire is quite vital to survive. Especially if it's getting cold during night time. Apart from this, I think I could do without a knife, I would probably find something there to defend myself if I needed to. As for water, I would only need to boil it, but I would be missing some kind of container. Probably a U-shaped stone would do it...
