Default How people talk on this side of the world

Hello everyone, bonjour and guten Tag, this is of course my first post here. I've recently been searching for fourms such as this, since I've always been fascinated by language & linguistics. And I've got a website that people here may be interested in.

After spending much time trying to figure out how regional accents in the USA and Canada REALLY sound, beyond all the stereotypes and clichés, I finally found several good linguistic resources and learned how to recognize most accents here. Then, I felt I needed to pass this knowledge on to others. And so we have this site:
http://students.csci.unt.edu/~kun

It's still not quite finished, though. I'm rewriting several pages, and soon I will add some sound files and a guest book.
