Hi again,

¡Qué viva España!

I see there are a lot of Spanish fans here. Yes, Spanish is a beautiful language, I like it too, but it can be very tricky and a bit hard...

sflor

Funny you should mention the Spanish language. When I worked in International department with my company I spoke and emailed people in The America's which also included Argentina where many people speak Catalan, which is somewhat of another of several of variations of the Spanish language. In fact this weekend I had a guest from the Consulate of Spain. He is from Madrid. We understood each other quite well considering I am from the US and he is from Espana. Of course they speak the more "formal" and pure Espanol than we do.

Ciao!

Hello Cinema,

Curious thing... I´ve never heard about "catalán" language was spoken in Argentina.

I know in Argentina it is spoken the "castellano" or the castilian language. Are we mixing up both languages here?

On the other hand, I read somewhere that the heritage of Argentina comes from two primary European sources, Spanish indeed and Italian, beyond other European countries.

Tchau,

I wish we had someone online from Argentina to explain. I think its the way my contacts said Catalan and maybe left the s as silent? and leave out the o?
All I know my friend Anna always felt more comfortable speaking it instead of regular Spanish? I could hardly tell the difference but there are clearly different words spoken opposed to just Spanish.

This weekend I saw a great show of Andre Rieu where he had a beautiful lady sing the famous Eva Peron song on the stage. It was extremely beautiful. Brings tears to my eyes!

"Don't Cry for me Argentina" Now I keep thiniking of the song.

Hi again,

Yes, probably your contact ommited those letters...

Let´s wait for someone from Argentina to come up and explain us the differences. Maybe we got that chance.

¡Hasta la vista!

Salut!!
