Hi,
I am trying to name a horse in a story that takes place in ancient finland. I thought that the word for "horse" or perhaps "balck" from one of the Finno-ugric languages might work. (Already have hungarian) So, if anyone out there knows Komi, Udmurt, etc and can translate these for me, I would appreciate it! Any other suggestions for the name of a "hero's" black gelding are appreciated. Vaguely Finnish sounding would - of course - be best. Thanks in advance. - jmmx |
