I'm still not sure what you are trying to convey. China still looks pretty big to me. And as someone living in America I can assure you that China is not considered a weak country. Poverty exists here as well. I am aware that there is severe and widespread poverty in China. I regret not having visited a country with a rich and ancient history.

If one looks at maps of the world from the past, it is clear that many civilizations have risen and fallen. China has stood strong for the most part, aside from the Mongolian Empire.

It's not invaded other countries but assimilated the other races.

Tiyz is quite true. Chinese nations is a mixed nation of many small races of Asia and Turkey and Mongol, Tibet, Manchu...
In the history some races have ruled China for several dynasties, but then they accepted Chinese culture and become one member of the Chinese family. So Please do not mistake and say China has invaded many nations. It is a little joking, isn't it?

Do you know Manchu(A race of China) in China? But now many Manchus don't think they are Manchu, They think they're Chinese.
Assimilated is what Chinese says, but the Manchus don't think so. They think it's a mutually cooperative venture.
Manchus had it's own language in history, but now, the language is disappared. So sad is, they haven't perceived.

A few people of minority want to separate from China, most of them is controled by foreigners.

But I will tell you, Taiwanese and most people in China mainland in one race--Han. Taiwan want to Indepandence,they saying they are not Chinese, How laughing it is!!
