Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but there has been a question that has been bugging me ever since I picked up the book, How to Read and Write the Arabic Alphabet. Do you have to roll any r's in Arabic? I hope not because I've never been able to do them
!! I thought when I was learning Spanish that I'd get better at them, but I never did. I've looked online for tips and then tried to roll my r's, but the only results I've seen is my monitor being covered with slobber Thanks for your time and here is to hoping there are no rolled r's in Arabic ![]() Last edited by Ra-ra; 07-30-2005 at 06:19 AM. |

Hi Ra-ra
If u meant that the R in Arabic is pronounced close to the Spanish one, then yes, it's it's not like the English R in the pronunciation it's more like the Spanish one ![]()

Nani, I just came across in my book this morning that the letter raa' is an example of a rolled r I believe.
Does anyone have any tips or pointers on how to get my stubborn tounge to roll an r? Thanks a bunch for your help! |
