Hey, for the pc-game "Armed Assault" the native people of the country "Sahrani" speak Esperanto as their official language. I've looked all over, but I can't find a military ranking system in this language, probably because no military has one. (duh)
So, for these rank equivalents, what would be the best Esperanto equivalent? Private Private First Class Corporal Sergeant Sergeant First Class First Sergeant Sergeant Major Second Lieutenant First Lieutenant Captain Major Thanks in advance |

these are the ones i'm sure about :
corporal : kaporalo sergeant : serg'ento captain : capitano Lieutenant: leu'tenanto major: majoro starting from this i can guess the other ones but it's only a guess: Sergeant First Class : unua klasa serg'ento (class is "klaso") First Sergeant : unua serg'ento Sergeant Major : majora serg'ento Second Lieutenant : dua leu'tenanto First Lieutenant : unua leu'tenanto what is "private" in English ? is it a simple soldier? if so i should say private : soldato you might see this sign: ' or this: x or as well this : ^ on a letter. These are the related sounds: g' : sounds like english "j" u' : sounds like english "oo" or the french word "ou" also the esperanto letter "j" is pronounced like english "e" hope this helps. G'is revido.
