Hello,

In the United States there is no need to be certified in order to offer Translation Services.

It only takes a notarized statement attached to the translation saying that it is accurate and it will work for official use.

Hope this comes in handy.

I'm glad you posted this I am in Texas and I would love to help translate. I help others here but I am trying to learn Italian myself. Do you know if there are or where someone like us could try to find jobs helping translate on an International basis? I have worked in International Exporting before and know both English/Spanish and am currently trying to get better in Italiano.

Grazie! Cinema

Well Cinema,

I have found that through Language123 it is easier to get in touch not only with potential clients but also with fellow translators and help each other with our needs.

Just go to the search tool if you want to find Italian translators to help you with the language. I know a lot of them do teach.

Hello jupagoro,

I´m really surprised with this... it means that in USA everyone who isn´t a certified translator or hasn´t got a translation diploma can translate any kind of document with a simple statement mentioning it is accurate? I don´t understand

Who can grant the accuracy of these translations? And suppose for any reason that a translation done by a person who isn´t certified can cause a serious dammage to himself or his client?

Are you talking about people who translate with no degree in translation or translators who aren´t subscribed in any translation organization?

Thanks in advance and see you,

sflor
