You are right with this realistic statement. In fact I only wanted to say that if you really concentrate on learning a language you can do it in less time than the normal way of learning a language like in school...Do you know what I mean?

Whaaaaaaw ... this list should have a web-page for itself, not even Hergé's 'Tin-Tin' has been translated to such amount of languges.

Congrats Bernhard (and congratulations for the forum ... if you are some sort of father to it).

I was about to post following text.... but had a last glance at the list and did find it there : "Asturian".

So sorry, but after typing it, I MUST PUBLISH IT!

One question :

I see 'Extremenian' listed there. Is it the language spoken in Extremadura, Spain ? Never heared about it. Well, not strange, I have never heared about 95% of all listed.

But if 'Extremenian' is considered a language, there is missing 'Bable' or 'Asturianu'. It's the language spoken in Asturias, northern Spain. It's claiming for an official status inside the vasteness of Iberic languages.

A fascinating list, indeed. It would take me 300 hours for each language to find only the information about where it's spoken, how are it's roots, how does the people speaking it look like, how do they live, how does it sound, how do they sing, what do they write ...

Greets,

Peter

Hi Peter!

Let me correct you, if you don´t mind: "Estremadura" is in Portugal, not in Spain. (It´s true, Portugal and Spain we are basically... twins ).

No, "Extremenian" isn´t the spoken language of Estremadura. I don´t have any idea.

See you!
