I have a remark by this. "Hottentottententententoonstelling" can be made very much longer (for example: "Hottentottententententoonstellingterreinenklapstoe ltjes"), but then you only make the word longer and I don't think anyone ever uses the word, except when talking about long words And "Superformiweldigeindefantakolosachtig" is the Dutch translation of supercalifragiliciexpialidocious. Well, I'm not sure they use this word in Dutch subtitles, but it does mean the same thing.

In Hungarian (especially in kid lingo), it's generally accepted to be "elkelkáposztásíthatatlanság". It means "uncabbageizability". Of course "cabbageize" is not a REAL word.
Another one I heard was "megszentségteleníthetetségeskedéseitekért", meaning: "for your undesecrationabilities". The explanation is that you cannot compound more than 2 words in Hungarian, but pre- and suffixes become a part of the original word. Last edited by Johnny Hargreaves; 04-13-2007 at 05:32 PM. |

Polish: Konstantynopolitanczykowianeczka
(32 letters, as much as the entire Polish alphabet) It means a little girl from Constantinople.
