Well, today is the day to begin the lessons. We'll start with some basic words and sentences and with that you'll also learn the pronunciation.
Lesson 1. - Greeting Dialog 1. Peter: "Hallo, ik heet Peter ten Klooster. Wat is jouw naam?" James: "Ik heet James Sheperd, en ik kom uit Engeland." Peter: "Hoe gaat het me je?" James: "Met mij gaat het goed, en met jou?" Peter: "Met mij gaat het ook goed." Peter: "Hello, my name is Peter ten Klooster. What is your name?" James: "My names is James Sheperd, and I am from England." Peter: "How are you doing?" James: "I'm doing fine, and you?" Peter: "I'm doing fine too." Now this was a basic dialog that happens almost every day. We now move on the the pronunciation of the words: The A's in Dutch are sharp U's in English like in "mum", for the French like the word "ça". The E can be used in different ways: a single E like in the word "het" is like the "ea" in "bear" a double EE in English is like the A in "day" an E at the end of a word is a sharp and short "u" like in "curve" the OE is like the "ou" in the word "you" The O's can also be used in different ways: a single O is like the "o" in the word "come" a double OO is a long "o" like in "omega" The IJ and EI are both said as an "i" in the word "bind" That's all for today, next time we'll learn how to use certain verbs. If anyone has question you are free to ask them.

Not bad, but remember that the word "het" must be said like the word "hat".
And the word "dij" is not the English word "you" or the French word "tu", but "jij" is. Ik - I / Je Jij - You / Tu Hij/Zij/Het - He, She, It / Il, Elle, Ce Wij - We / Nous Jullie - You / Vous Zij - They / Ils A formel word for "you" is "u". Like the French word "vous". It's like the OE, but sharper and higher. Mijn - Mine / Mon Jouw - Yours / Ton Zijn, Haar, Het - His, Hers, Its / Son Ons - Ours / Notre Jullie - Yours / Votre Hun - Theirs / Leur The greeting "how are you doing" and "ça va" can be translated directly to "hoe gaat het?" (how is it going?) (comment ça va?) Hoe - How - Comment Gaat - is going - va Het - it - ça The same with the reply: Het - it - Ça Gaat - is going - va Goed - well, good - bien "Ik - weet - dat - het - niet - makkelijk - is" "I - know - that - it - not - easy - is" "Je - sais - cette - ce - non - facile - est" Ik weet dat het niet makkelijk is. I know it isn't easy. Je sais ce n'est facile pas.

That was clear.
But my remark concerned that you have used the "wrong" translated words: dat -> que (in French) cette (in French) -> dit, deze, dat niet -> ne ... pas (in French) Non (in French) -> Nee

I know that "ne ... pas" means "niet". I just translated every word seperantly.
