The problem might be he (pluiepoco) lives in China and that the access to the site was closed down for some unknown reason. He might have been unable for a period of time to access the site.
Though I don't see why pluiepoco is complaining and you pluiepoco won't you stop posting personnal info about people (email address, phone numbers, full name....), he (sputnick) now has a good reason to complain! Last edited by The_FD; 03-23-2006 at 02:57 PM. |

actually, you raise an interesting point. at first, pluiepoco's english was ok. it's weird, look at the original thread: Translation of multi-lingual vocabulary modules pluiepoco's english is ok in that thread. in this new thread here, i have trouble understanding him. Quote:

in any case, i have no way of knowing the answer to your question. maybe pluiepoco is lying about that too, and he totally forgot about our site without trying to access it. or maybe the PRC fiddled with their filters. i have no idea. personally, i wish the china govt would change. this censorship is very wrong and troublesome, even without people like pluiepoco to deal with. actually, forgive me for saying so, but pluiepoco sounds just like a typical official from the communist government, very arrogant and inconsiderate - sorry if that's offensive but that's my honest impression, given the way pluiepoco has acted towards me and my project. if you think about it, pluiepoco's claim makes no sense. why would i ignore him if he did work on the mandarin module? i am DESPERATE to add more languages. my post which started this thread proves that. i am dying to add korean, hungarian, etc. i was even more desperate two months ago. so if pluiepoco really already translated the welcome page, why would i ignore him? why would i try to look for another partner? of course i would send him daily emails and PM asking him to start work on the vocabulary, to do the system phrases, etc. etc. etc. pluiepoco is the one who ignored my project, not the other way round. he never did anything, never even logged in, so i continued looking for a partner for mandarin. luckily i found one in singapore. he and i are working very closely on developing a system to display chinese tones correctly. we already finished implementing a function to toggle hanyu pinyin and chinese characters. it is crazy, given the many many hours my chinese partner and i are spending on the module, to accuse me of using machine-translated words. the quality of my project, especially the chinese module, is very very high. this controversy has gone on long enough. thank you both chinois and pluiepoco for your interest in my project. i am sorry it didn't work out but let's not argue anymore about whether it was your fault, my fault, or the PRC fault. it makes no difference at this juncture. i was very eager to work with both of you, as is obvious from my PM to pluiepoco and my post to chinois in the original thread -- but it was not to be. given what transpired in this thread, i doubt i will be able to find any more partners in this forum. that's OK; my project is almost complete. in any case, this is my last post here. if you want to continue libelling or criticizing me, go ahead. if not, more power to you! thanks to the admins and owner of this forum. i found two partners here and became good friends with them. i have a link up towards this site and it will stay up. nick http://albis.vetsin.com/ cebu city, philippines |

What I don't understand, if your website is indeed powered by Powweb, why doesn't the phrase "powered by Powweb" appear on your site? It's not a matter whether you like to advertise it not. Would Powweb power your web without letting people know it?
For instance, this web is powered by Powered by vBulletin Version 3.5.2 Copyright ©2000 - 2006, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. SEO by vBSEO 3.2.0 RC5 which is very detailed indeed. Other webs which are powered by other softwares are likewise. I just don't understand.

Now, I'm back here, and to reply to sputnik as one of my thousands of proofs, I want to show anyone my password and username there, I mean, albis, to check up, if pluiepoco had ever entered that albis site and done anything helping? anyone who want have a check, please reply to this post and I would send you a private message. and my password there is the same as here the berberber, so if the admins here want to have a solid check, OK, please have a direct look-up. As to sputnik, you can also ask your webmaster or admins to have a check at the visit archives or the userlist, to see whether there was a user who registered amongst the earliest users during November-December last year? HIS location was in Shenzhen, China, OK, please check carefully????before you made such a re-shitting?
