X-Men Origins: Wolverine stars Hugh Jackman as the famous Marvel comics character Wolverine that will be released May 1, 2009. The film is directed by Gavin Hood and shot mostly in Australia and New Zealand.

I haven't seen it yet but i would love too! That would be like a whole new different Hugh Jackman, compared to the one I saw on youtube dancing and singing with Anne Hathaway, Zac Efron, Beyonce, Vanessa Hudgens,and others! This was when he was the presentor for an award-giving body in Hollywood (forgot).

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a forgettable summer popcorn flick with a few good
one-liners, Jackman looking incredibly studly with his layers of rippling muscles, and a couple of really interesting new characters who we didn't get to see enough of at all. Gambit, John Wraith, The Blob, and Wade Wilson are in and out way, way too quickly which is a shame because Wolverine was a lot of fun - albeit bloody and violent fun - and more interesting when Wade Wilson and the crew were wreaking havoc on the screen.

I know too much about real X-Men to actually love this film (though compared to others X-Men films is not very different from those 'real X-Men') but it was worth buying a DVD.
Oh, I almost forgot: DO NOT watch it if Gambit is your favourite X-Man, since they turned him into a faggot in "Wolverine". Last edited by luizz; 11-05-2009 at 07:47 PM. |
