I had heard of this film when I saw the Oscar's Award's several months ago. I had to buy the DVD and am sooooo glad I did!

I personally love this film. Though not very accurate history wise it does have some great spectacular scenes and costumes of that era.

I use this film as a study for trying to see how the Spanish and English dressed in those days. You must see this movie and pay attention to as much detail as possible. Hopefully. some of you have seen it and can comment?

Yeah, I agree. This film is so great. I love Cate Blanchett, she did really magnificent job with this role ( just like in the first part ). She's the best "movie queen" ever ( well, maybe also Helen Mirren in "The Queen").

Almost everyone in this film were great and I see them becoming major film stars soon.

I plan to have a costume made just like the Spanish Officers in this movie. It must be as authentic as possible. My favorite actor was none other than the now infamous Jordi Molla as king Philip of Espana. I think I was King Philip in a former life. Ja!
