To find a family of reception in USA

I am a french student from Lyon. I am 21 years old. I would like to leave during 3 weeks or one month in an English-speaking country. In exchange for to be fed and accommodated, I suggest making domestic spots or voluntary work with the children. Thank you for your answer. HElP ME!!!

I can only suggest to contact local universities in whatever state in US you think you want to visit. Please be cautious and only discuss with a trusted source here in US. Go to a local university where you live and speak with a counselor, I am sure they can make best suggestions.

I think Cinema is right. Do not come to the USA to live with just any one, you could get into a lot of trouble and have unneeded stress with whomever you live. Consult your school about living in the USA ask about foreign exchange programs in the US.

If I could host you here, I probably would (I'm going to major in French), but like the ones before me said: it's not safe to just ask anyone to be your host family. Look into exchange programs like those offered at your university.
