I need some help rewording this, How would I say "I am my brother's keeper." from this bible verse? Is there a better or more correct way of saying it in Chinese?

創 世 記 4:9 Chinese Bible: NCV (Simplified)
耶和华问该隐：“你的弟弟亚伯在哪里？”他回答：“我不知道；难道我是看守我弟弟的吗？”

King James Bible
And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?

The most popular translated Chinese version is:

4:9 耶 和 华 对 该 隐 说 ： 你 兄 弟 亚 伯 在 哪 里 ？ 他 说 ：我 不 知 道 ， 我 岂 是 看 守 我 兄 弟 的 么 ？

This one is quite similar with the sentence you got there, but as far as i see, yours is a little less informal than the one i found. The choice is yours.
