Hello anyone & everyone!
I was wondering if anybody could help me translate the following words from English into Chinese? The names are: "CHRISTINA" (kris-tee-nuh or "nah" or "na") "ALAN" (ah-lun or "len") "CHELSEA" (chel-see or "sea") I would really appreciate anybody's help. Thanks for your time, regards, disco_al2000 |

IMHO, the best way is to pick up some sound elements of original names and make it meaningful. Jonthan Spence, a great sinologist, makes a good example. His chinese name 史景遷 is derived from the sound of his surname Spence. Though it doesn't perfectly match the original sound, it gives a meaning that perfectly match his profession. If Disco feels interested in making a meaningful name, you can leave down your family name and the name and we may pick up an some meaningful combinations of characters for it. |
