I was on a foriegn exchange program with a friend of mine. It was night and we were travelling by train. At 00:15 he pointed a torch at me and said:
"psssst, are you asleep yet?"

I would go for the same choice anything chose, it's just so stupid to ask someone sleeping "are you sleeping"
hmm well, it's kinda annoying too, coz if you were sleeping and someone woke you up to ask you if you were sleeping or not is just so annoying not to mention pointing a torch towards you!! @ Reema: Your teacher asked you if you were there just after you told him/her that you were? God! what a teacher!, or maybe he/she noticed that you weren't paying attention? *I am totally kidding in here and sorry in advance if it bothers you  *
