Wink

Please translate this simple short phrase from a movie:

They are not long, the days of wine and roses:

Out of a misty dream

Our path emerges for a while, then closes

Within a dream.

Mille grazie!

Dig,

Now I am curious what magic1234 was referring to in the statement? Who or what is Emanuele? or Stefano? Are these famous people or something?

Please fill me in. Grazie and thanks for the translation of Days of Wine & Roses.
