What is your favorite Traditional Italian food or drink?

Here in US we tend to think everyone in Italia eat the same food? Here in US we eat all kinds of food but I just wanted to ask what you like in Italy?

You think so? In Italy you can find everything too. Obviously typical and most known Italian's plates are pasta or pizza but Italian tradition is very very big! Mediterranean plates are so good for me!
Its very difficult speak about ONE favourite traditional food....I can tell you that I love pasta ...thousand and thousand of type of pasta!
And you? Do you like Italian food?

Of course I love Italian food! That's another reason I want to marry a signorina Italiana one day! We can both share the food and vino together for eternity!

Cibo!! mi-ti-co I love absolutely above any other thing...Lasagne fatte in casa

(home-made lasagna), and then abbacchio alla scottadito (lamb...

), but if you open an Italian cooking book I think that I wouldn't like yo have only a few of the plates presented

Lasagna is at the top of my list too Digius! Then spagetti and meat sauce with all of the deliciouso spices and of course the bread! Enselada or salads of all kinds too. The wonderful vinagerette's make it even better. I imagine in Italia you can go to your own backyard and find the best vinegars. What do you think is the best breads around?

Maybe you can send overnight Fedex a sample of real home made lasagna for me to test? ha ha!

Oh, I'm really (...but really!) sorry about you Lasagna, but Fedex is so far from here. But don't worry: I know that I'm a SO GOOD guy so I'll ask my mother (she is so good!) to made them and then....obvioulsy, I'll eat it for you!!!!

I love spicy food too! Spagetti and meat sauce here are called "Spaghetti alla Bolognese" ....but you MUST try our "Spaghetti alla Carbonara"!!!!! What do you think, Digius?

Bread...yes, we have a lot of types but I can't explain you.. do you know, in Toscana (I'm sure you know Tuscany!) they use to prepara bread without salt!

STOP: Now I'm hungry!!!!!!
