Hello Chiara,
I am new to the forum and can you tell me what the difference is in neapolitan and Italian language. Are they just seperate dialects? Is one more formal than the other? I am trying to get better with my Italiano so I dont want to get confused and learn wrong. Maybe you can help me too? I will be more than happy to help anyone with English especially in correcting words. Thats fun! Your amico from Texas/USA, Cinema

Hi !
Italian his the official language used in Italy, The Napoletan is a dialect used only in the region of Naples. So I suggest you to learn the Italian, and after if you want the Napoletan's dialect, but they are a big difference between the both. It's like the french language and the Corsica's dialect. I hope it's clear now for you. ![]()
