I have recieved a letter from my lawyer from Italy.. and no body is here to tell me what is the matter in it. Please someone translate in English. I will be very thankful who will help me.

If you do not take this action within Oct 10th 2006 The Indian Law Authority will arrest Mr xxxx who will consider you guilty for any damage he should come to suffer consequently the arrest. Kind regards. sorry my English sucks , hope you've got the meaning of this. The guy will probably sue you if he gets arrested !

I must warn you that if you don't take the proper mesures within the 10th of October 2006, the Indian Jurisdictional Authority will carry out a new arrest to Mr.xxxx, who will be exent from further responsabilities, and you will be guilty for these severe consecuences that you will must undergo due to legal prodeedings. I think it's something like that. Not a bad translation Chiara! WoW!!!!!!!!! |

lambabur got the meaning. rather threatening...
just an info for anyone who likes english and law : you can't be guilty of a damage. the correct expression is "liable for" guilty -> criminal affairs liable -> civil responsibility n.b.: both can be combined! |
