Lina is a glorious beacon of light

There's no [sh] sound in Greek, especially there's no "h" except at the beginning of a word, so it can't be really translated.
A literal translation would be Σανε, but this is "Sane" and not "Shane". Maybe Χανε would be better. With a Latin alphabet it is "Chane", but it would be closer, for Χ ( χ ) can either be pronounced [k] or like a Spanish "j", which quite resembles the English sound. Sorry for not helping you better... ![]() |

As Lina says, there is no [sh] sound in Greek. English "sh" is usually transcribed as a simple "s", so Shane, from the days of the Alan Ladd movie, has been Σέιν.
